ATHNEXO is built for high-school athletes, so safety is designed into every feature — not added later.
Youth accounts are parent-linked
- Members must be at least 13. Members aged 13–17 invite a parent or guardian, who must approve the account before it can be found, send messages, connect, or join games.
- Guardians can see their athlete's connections and games, remove connections, and pause the account at any time.
- When an adult who is not a verified coach or trainer asks to connect with a member under 18, the request goes to the guardian first.
Verified coaches and trainers
The ✓ Verified badge appears only after our team reviews a coach's or trainer's credentials.
Your location stays approximate
We use your ZIP code to find people nearby and only ever show your town and a rounded distance. Exact pickup-game addresses are visible only to players who have joined.
Messages
You can only message people you're connected with. Messages are text only. Deleted messages are kept privately for our safety team so reports can be investigated.
Block and report
Blocking someone hides you from each other everywhere and removes any connection. Reports go to our moderation team.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 911. ATHNEXO is not an emergency service.
